Opening my shop soon!

I am so excited that I’m getting closer to opening up my shop! There are so many small details to take care of before you can list your items. I need to take photos of some of my more recent work and that can take a bit of time to take and edit. I took care of getting registered with the state and have a tax Id#. I have Venmo and PayPal accounts set up. My hiccup right now is shipping. I can’t list items until I know the size and weight, etc. I just need to find some boxes that are cost effective and I think I have found the right company. I just need a little more packing materials so items don’t break in transit. So far so good on that, knocking on wood but some pieces will need to be double boxed. I would love to say the shop will be up in 2 weeks but I have a feeling it may take a little longer. I think I’ll start with just a few items and then add on from there. I work full time so it’s trying to balance making new pieces (my favorite part) and working on the website/transactions/shipping. I’m so ready for this next phase in my process. Even though it feels like I’m climbing up a hill in 4 feet of snow snow for miles, I know that this will be worth it.

I’m excited to share my work with anyone who finds this site. I want to reach people in sharing my experiences, failures, and continue to reach/share new benchmarks in my pottery adventure. I hope to sell a little along the way so I can keep creating. I love hearing randomly what people like about a piece. I love when I see someone who in a moment has a genuine smile and the joy they get from a piece. I like to make some silly pieces/expressions and when someone laughs, it’s just the best feeling. I love that people will gravitate towards something and think, I would like this in my life. It just makes my heart happy. Wish me luck and some sanity because I’m going to need it 😊.
