Hearts
I am in love with these hearts! They are not solid. The heart is cut out of a slab, twice. The two sides are shaped and dry until they hold the shape. Then they are pieced together and carefully smoothed. The go into the kiln when completely dry for a bisque fire. Then they are glazed (three time per color) and sent back into the kiln for the final firing. The rainbow heart is my favorite. The hearts are about 4.5 inches wide and tall. It’s about 2 inches thick. If you would like a custom colored heart pick any color of the rainbow! My Hearts run between $35-$40 plus shipping. Stock is limited for now. Custom orders can take 2 months or more (especially because if they don’t dry all the way through it’s like putting a loaded grenade into your kiln!) Painted “rocks”. These are really fun to make. I often have little bits of clay left over when working on a project. Instead of putting it in the recycle clay, I make a little “rock”. Once bisque fired I glaze it and it comes to life.
